Domestic Tanzanian carrier, Zanair, has said that it is set to revive Tanzania’s northern air circuit with a codeshare agreement signed with an independent operator.
Traditionally only operating in the south of the country, Zanair has seen a need to grow the northern circuit, says Director Lancelot Coutinho.
Coutinho says the cessation of northern operations was as a result of the economic downturn but increased demand has called for a route revival.
The carrier has also acquired new aircraft that it expects to use on its routes.
