Kurland Hotel embarks on health and environmental programme

Kurland Hotel in Plettenberg Bay is embarking on a ‘greening process’ that focuses on a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

The Kurland Hotel children’s menu now offers seasonal specialities grown in the hotel’s organic herb and vegetable gardens.

This ‘greening process’ is also an interactive process whereby the children help prepare their dinner as well as healthy additive- and preservative-free deserts. The hotel also provides nutritious picnic hampers for trips around the area, and is involved in recycling refuse and the use of natural fly-repellent at its stables.
