The newly-formed Classic Escapes aims at attracting high-end clientele who expect impeccable service and remarkable experiences says founder, Caroline Bayly.
Offering accommodation in establishments and tour guides that will accompany a group cross-country, Bayly is looking to incorporate her wealth of experience from across the region into tours that will predominantly be sold straight to the consumer.
Moving out of marketing and into operations was a natural step says Bayly, who has had an increased demand from clients to organise tours rather than just focus on the marketing of properties from the region.
The first phase of development for Classic Escapes is the establishment of a pro-guiding division that will offer an exclusive service to clients that would prefer to be accompanied by the same guide through all the countries they may traverse in Southern Africa. The second phase is the establishment of travel desks at certain accommodation establishments that would direct bookings to Classic Escapes.
The company aims to focus not only on inbound international travellers, but also corporate, diplomatic and domestic business.
