Lemala Camps & Lodges has completed its renovation of Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge in Tanzania’s Northern Serengeti, introducing a new two-bedroom family suite, a relocated spa and an expanded main dining tent.

The new family suite has been created on the site of the former spa and features contemporary interiors, large living areas and a private plunge pool. It is designed for families and groups travelling together, including multi-generational groups.

The spa has been moved to a new location within the lodge grounds while the main dining tent has been redesigned and extended to create more space and improve the flow between the dining and bar areas.

“This renovation was about looking at what Kuria Hills already does so well and finding thoughtful ways to enhance it rather than adding more to the landscape,” said Leanne Haigh, CEO of Lemala Camps & Lodges.

The renovation took place during the lodge’s annual March to May closure as part of Lemala’s strategy to improve existing properties within their established footprints.

Set on Wogakuria Hill near the Mara River, Kuria Hills is along the Great Migration corridor during the traditional July to October season. Guests can also explore the Northern Serengeti on guided game drives, walking safaris and hot air balloon safaris.
