Nearly half (46%) of respondents to a recent Tourism Update poll witnessed irresponsible behaviour by safari vehicle drivers in Pilanesberg National Park.

The poll followed reports received by Tourism Update of drivers allegedly speeding, pressuring other visitors to move on from wildlife sightings and insisting on priority access to sightings.

However, a slight majority (54%) of respondents have not experienced this behaviour.

Tourism Update will take a closer look at the concerns raised, including the impact on the visitor experience, in an article later this week.
