Marine Dynamics, which operates shark-cage diving, has upgraded its vessel.
The company has unveiled Slashfin, a state-of-the-art multimillion-rand boat equipped with Wi-Fi and with dedicated shark biologists, experienced skipper and registered tour guides on board.
Slashfin can accommodate 40 people with six crew members. Marine Dynamics named the boat after one of Gansbaai's most famous sharks, which has been featured in documentaries such as 'Sharkman' and has been sighted since 2005.
